We try to search for RF remote control for karaoke machine on the internet but have encountered various problems from making samples to quoting price. The HKTDC Business Matching Service has eventually solved our problems. We met four referred suppliers at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Ed) 2015. For the first two suppliers, we will further communicate with their engineers; the third supplier offers reasonable price for making the sample; the fourth one claims they have a RF remote control model with a similar code that could match our requirements. As our product is so niche, the previous suppliers we contacted quoted an extremely high price, yet now we can have a more competitive bid. The matching meetings are also a two-side validation for both parties, and they solidify forward progress in our discussion. Hopefully we can have our sample available in 6 weeks and we plan to order 5,000 units at our targeted price.
