After the HKTDC Business Matching meetings, I have identified a Taiwanese company that presents a good chance of cooperation.


My company owns and operates a café chain with 2,000 stores in India, Egypt,Malaysia, Czech Republic and Austria. We are a 25-year-old company listed inIndia and we have our own 4,000-hectare coffee plantation. Our plan is toexpand to 2,500 cafes by 2020. I have come to the Hong Kong Houseware Fair 2018to look for new, customisable products to sell in our cafés in India, includingcrockery, mugs, brewers and electronic coffee equipment, with good designs andprices.  After the HKTDC BusinessMatching meetings, I have identified a Taiwanese company that presents a goodchance of cooperation. The company supplies good quality coffee brewers, Frenchpresses, and travel tumblers—products that we sell by tens of thousands of eachyear. We are asking for quotations and customisation options. We have neverbought from Taiwanese companies before so this may become a first for us.
