My companyis an e-tailer of office supplies based in Dubai that services some 5,000 SMEs and individuals across the UAE. We have always sourced locally, and this is ourfirst time visiting trade fairs overseas. I have come to the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair 2019 to look for new suppliers in the “far east”, such as Taiwan and Korea, and for mid-range, quality products that are not currently available in the UAE. Through the HKTDC Business Matching service, I have identified two companies that offer the products I like. I am interested in the PP products of one Hong Kong supplier and the staplers, hole punches and cutters of a Korean supplier. As we are new to sourcing from abroad, I will further review the prices and the items with my team in Dubai before deciding on the exact quantity to order.
