HKTV Mall is Hong Kong’s foremost e-tailer and online marketplace. I have come tothe Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2019 and Hong Kong Baby Products Fair 2019 to invite local speciality shops to open e-shops on the HKTV Mall platform. I am particularly interested in shops that target 25- to 40-year-old consumers and those that sell toys and children’s products. Through the HKTDC Business Matching service, I have found two such companies. One of them sells figures that are a crossover of DC Comics’ superheroes, such as Batman and Superman, and the characters of a Hong Kong illustrator; and the other company offers augmented reality-equipped bow and arrow toys and ice-cream trucks that can play the user’s own tunes. Both companiesare keen to join our platform but will need to sort out some logistical issues first.We will be continuing our discussion.
