As the Hospital Director of the Royal Phnom Penh Hospital and Royal Angkor International Hospital, part of the BDMS group in Cambodia, my primary objective was to identify new innovations that align with our hospital’s needs.
I’ve also noted several Hong Kong or Hungarian companies offering medical supplies—like masks and surgical gowns—at reasonable prices, with contacts exchanged with around 10 companies so far. The question of US tariffs has impacted Cambodia, and the ability to have face-to-face meetings at the medical fair remains critical for building and maintaining supplier relationships from overseas sources in helping diversify or navigate the challenges posed by said tariffs. It is a valuable opportunity to access cutting-edge solutions so close to home.
