Established in 1996, our company is a nation wide distributor with a clientele comprising of resorts, 5-star hotels, supermarkets and dealers. We also run two shops in the country. Vietnamese consumers used to drink rice wine and spirits, but many consumers turn to wine for health concern. Hence, the market demand for wine is on the upsurge. Exchange rate fluctuation is not an issue because we have diversified our imports from different origins, such as, Australia, Chile, France, Spain, New Zealand and South Africa. In Vietnam, high-end wine is consumed by the Chinese and Taiwanese who are mostly the owners of factories or other business enterprises. European expatriates prefer the mass-market to mid-end ranges. So, our company offers a wide range of wine at retail prices from USD10-5,000. It has been my second time to visit the HKTDC Wine and Spirits Fair. Thanks to the HKTDC business matching services, 6 meetings were arranged on the inaugural day. Some suitable suppliers from France and Spain were lined up. We could make a quick decision to conclude deals immediately when the MOQ required is just one palletof bottled wine.
