With the help of the HKTDC Business Matching service, I met a representative from the Okinawa prefectural government.
This is our fifthtime joining the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference. Our Association haslong appreciated this big and important event in Asia; we especially enjoy therich programme that gathers Asians and foreigners to present their solutionsand ideas. This year, we have come with a larger delegation than last year,with 23 companies. We want to learn about new trends in the region, findsolutions and explore collaborations. With the help of the HKTDC BusinessMatching service, I met a representative from the Okinawa prefectural government.I have always been interested in Okinawa’s free-trade zone as it presents goodopportunities for Taiwanese companies. I will follow up with them and try toorganise an Okinawa visit for our members in Q2 2020. We will continue to supportthe ALMC and to invite more people to come and get new ideas for service trendsin Asia and the world.
